What Makes It Work
White shaggy fur is everything. A white faux fur suit is easiest, but a white fur hoodie and fur pants (or white fleece with fur strips sewn on) work too. The shaggier, the better.
The feet sell it. Oversized furry slipper boots or fur covers over your shoes give you yeti footprints. Add fur mittens or claw gloves.
For the face, pull the hood up and use pale blue-gray face paint around the eyes and nose, or leave your face clear for a friendly yeti. A few glittery snowflakes stuck in the fur and a little silver shimmer make it look like you just walked out of a blizzard.

Too little fur. A plain white sweatsuit looks like a snowman, not a yeti. The other miss is regular shoes. Big furry feet make the costume.
